CBH as an accredited inspection body will be performing of inspections, downstream of the shut-off valve within the scope of CAN/CSA-B149.3, based on Canadian code requirements for safety and suitability of one-of a-kind and limited run commercial and industrial fuel-burning appliances and equipment that may be designed for installation at a specific site or assembled on-site, the application of approval labels on the appliances and equipment, and the issuance of an inspection certificate or report in accordance with:

• CAN/CSA-B149.3 Code for the field approval of fuel-burning appliances and equipment

With reference to the requirements identified in following Codes & Standards when applicable:

• CAN/CSA-B149.1 Natural gas and propane installation code

• CAN/CSA-B149.2 Propane storage and handling code

• Variances or provincial deviations as may be issued from time to time by the Provincial or Territorial Regulatory Authority

• Relevant requirements of the National Building Code of Canada and the National Fire Code of Canada.

• CSA B51 Boiler, pressure vessel and pressure piping code

• CSD-1 Control and Safety Devices for Automatically Fired Boilers

• NFPA 85 Boiler and Combustion Systems Hazards Code

• NFPA 86 Standard for Ovens and Furnaces

CBH, en tant qu'organisme d'inspection accrédité, effectuera des inspections en aval de la vanne d'arrêt, conformément à la norme CAN/CSA-B149.3, selon les exigences du code canadien en matière de sécurité et d'adéquation des appareils et équipements de combustion commerciaux et industriels uniques et à production limitée, conçus pour être installés sur un site précis ou assemblés sur place. Ces inspections comprendront l'apposition d'étiquettes d'approbation sur les appareils et équipements, ainsi que la délivrance d'un certificat ou d'un rapport d'inspection, conformément aux exigences suivantes :
